The latest from the fields and the probable lineups of Juventus-Milan (Saturday 18 January, 6.00 pm, referee Massa, live TV on DAZN):
The latest on Juventus
Juventus will face Milan again just over a fortnight after the painful defeat in the Super Cup. The Bianconeri will want to do well and above all they will want to follow up on the good performance offered against Atalanta, but with the hope, this time, of winning. Thiago Motta finds Dusan Vlahovic again for this match and will be able to count on the new signing Alberto Costa. While for Randal Kolo Muani we will have to wait for some bureaucratic procedures to be sorted out. However, Francisco Conceicao will be absent and is not yet at his best. Juventus, against Milan, will start from 4-2-3-1: Di Gregorio will be in goal. In defense on the right it will be Savona’s turn, in the middle space for Gatti and Kalulu, while Cambiaso will play on the left who does not seem to be distracted by the transfer rumors that he would join Manchester City. There should be no changes in midfield and there will be Locatelli and Thuram, with Douglas Luiz and McKennie on the bench. Yildiz will be confirmed on the right, Koopmeiners will move in the middle, while on the left the doubt is between Nico Gonzalez and Mbangula. In attack there will be the return of Dusan Vlahovic. The latest on Milan
After the first victory in the championship, Sergio Conceiçao’s first big match arrives. They will have to face it without the suspended Morata and the injured Chukwueze, Thiaw, Loftus-Cheek, Okafor and Pulisic. There are therefore not many choices. The 4-3-3 has been confirmed with Maignan in goal, Royal, Tomori, Gabbia and Theo Hernandez in defence, Fofana, Reijnders and Bennacer (preferred to Musah) in midfield, in front it’s Abraham’s turn with Leao on the left and the adapted Jimenez in right. Camarda is the only striker on the bench.
