Mercato: Japanese striker Furuhashi very close to Rennes

Stade Rennais decided to accelerate to strengthen themselves up front. Followed for several weeks, Japanese striker Kyogo Furuhashi is about to settle down in Brittany. According to our information, an agreement has just been reached between Rennes and Celtic Glasgow for a transfer which should amount to 12 million euros.

The 30-year-old probably played his last match with the Scottish club, this Wednesday January 22, in the Champions League against Young Boys Bern (1-0). Replaced a quarter of an hour before the final whistle, he should strengthen Jorge Sampaoli's team in the coming days.
