There's nothing like a concert tour to get you back on your feet. Alain Souchon celebrated his 80th birthday last May. But the singer-songwriter doesn't seem to be retiring any time soon. Because for several weeks, the artist with 10 million albums sold is back on the roads of France for a new tour in the company of his two sons, Pierre and Ours Souchon. A family project that they have been working on for almost a year and which will last until the end of 2025. The reason for this new adventure? A surprising prescription from the singer's doctor Sentimental crowd.

In full promotion of their tour, the father and his sons were invited this Tuesday, January 21 in the Canal+ show, As an aside. Alain Souchon spoke about the motivations that pushed him to return to the stage with his children. While he was going through a slump, Laurent Voulzy's sidekick consulted his doctor who prescribed a somewhat special treatment. “I felt a little sluggish, not in great spirits, but it can happen and it passes”, began by explaining the singer. Then, the man who recently suffered an accident recounted what his doctor gave him as treatment: “He told me: 'There is only one thing to do: you have to go on tour with your children'. He marked it, instead of saying: 'You have to take it in the evening' , then he said: 'Going on tour with your two guys'.” The musician didn't think long before embarking on this project.
-An unusual prescription that seems to have been very effective, as Ours notes: “It’s crazy how much it got him back into shape.”. His youngest son, real name Charles, adds: “It's true that, when you've had the life he had, to be on the move all the time, in projects constantly… When everything stops suddenly, you can quickly have a little general softening”. Ours seems delighted to share these extraordinary moments with his famous dad. “We see how much as soon as he is in his songs, it’s crazy how it gets him back into shape”, concludes the youngest of the siblings.
