Two people aged 58 and 26 died Tuesday afternoon after their microlight crashed into a chalet in Méribel-les-Allues in Savoie, the department prefecture said.

The accident, which occurred around 5 p.m., involved, in addition to the aircraft, a two-seater paraglider. The machine crashed “at roof level” of the house, she said in a press release.
