Serbia: eight dead in retirement home fire

A day of national mourning was proclaimed in Serbia after the fatal fire which ravaged a retirement home located in Barajevo, 30 km southwest of Belgrade, on Monday. The management company was liquidated in 2023 and mistreatment of residents is suspected.
