Many teams dispatched from Bolu, Düzce, Kocaeli, Sakarya, Karabük, Zonguldak, Bartın and Ankara are intervening in the flames to extinguish the fire that broke out for an unknown reason in a hotel in the center located at the top of the Köroğlu Mountains.
Teams and vehicles from the fire brigade, health, AFAD, UMKE, gendarmerie command and forestry regional directorates are participating in the extinguishing efforts.
Work in the 12-storey hotel, which firefighters reached with ladder-basket vehicles, concentrated on the upper floors.
Meanwhile, some holidaymakers were seen tying sheets together and hanging them from the windows to escape during the fire.
