It’s another big win for all-Aussie duos in the mixed doubles.

Kim Birrell and John-Patrick Smith have defeated fellow Australian Ellen Perez and German Kevin Krawietz.

Birrell/Smith needed the 10-point tiebreak decider to advance to the semifinals, winning 6-3, 3-6, 10-6.

They join fellow Aussies Olivia Gadecki John Peers in the mixed doubles semifinals.

Birrell/Smith will face the British team of Olivia Nicholls and Henry Patten.

There is a chance of an all-Australian mixed doubles final.
