Temporary closure of the Orelle tunnel – News – News

Due to a technical problem with the fire control of the Orelle tunnel, the French Society of the Fréjus Road Tunnel (SFTRF) had to close the Orelle tunnel in both directions of traffic during the night of Monday 20 to Tuesday January 21.
At 9:30 a.m., traffic in this area was very disrupted.
For light vehicles: diversion via the RD 1006 and RD 215
Heavy goods vehicles and buses must use the Mont Blanc tunnel
Work to repair the fire main is underway and is expected to take at least 24 hours.
