Another Sylvester Stallone Movie Gets Hit With a Shocking 0% Score on Rotten Tomatoes

Back in December 2024, an under-the-radar Sylvester Stallone heist movie called Armor was hit with so many bad reviews that it earned a perfect zero on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. And now, just a month later, another new Stallone movie, has also snagged a 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. It seems almost unfair to Sly, but somehow, the new action/thriller Wings has been hit with nothing but negative reviews.

Co-starring Scott Eastwood and Willa Fitzgerald, Wings has a quirky premise: Spies going rogue so they can enjoy some material bliss in a remote winter resort. But, their enemies have tracked them there, which, oddly, puts Stallone in the mix as one of their few allies, Agent Chester. So, in some senses, the movie is about a group of good secret agents fighting off bad secret agents and assassins, with two big names— Stallone and Eastwood— front and center.

The thing with the Rotten Tomatoes score is a little unfair. When you dig into the individual reviews, some, including Keith Garlington’s, merely give the movie a meh review rather than outright trashing it. Garlington gave the movie 2.5 stars out of 5, while Ben Gibbons at Screenrant assigned the movie 3 stars out of 10.

These aren’t great reviews, to be clear. But, the problem with the Rotten Tomatoes score is that it’s an all-or-nothing score. Even the worst reviews here aren’t giving Wings 0 out of 5 or 0 out of 10. However, in the world of RT, even a mixed review tends to count as a negative one. So, while Wings probably deserves some of the flack it’s getting, thinking of it as a full-on failure might be unfair. After all, there’s no audience sore here yet, and very often, poorly reviewed RT action movies are worth watching anyway.

Plus, the failure of Armor and Wings probably won’t hurt Sylvester Stallone. This guy is pretty famous for getting knocked down, and then, getting right back up.

Wings is playing in select movie theaters and is available to watch via VOD on Apple, Amazon, and Google Play.
