The Miami Heat beat the San Antonio Spurs in Jimmy Butler‘s second game back from his seven-game suspension. The Heat routed the Spurs by 21 points (127-108), but Butler’s behavior on the bench has taken some attention away from Miami’s landslide victory.
A clip was posted on X (formerly Twitter) featuring Butler in a non-celebratory mood despite his team headed for a big win. The six-time All-Star was seen seated on the bench doing a little golf clap as the game wrapped up.

Butler’s demeanor has caught the attention of several fans, with several commenters calling him out for it.
“Getting paid $50 mil this season and he’s pouting…. Guy has the maturity of a five year old,” One person said.
“Doesn’t have beef with his teammates but won’t celebrate their success f*** him get him out of here,” another person tweeted.

One Jimmy Butler fan was heartbroken upon seeing the clip.

Meanwhile, several fans pointed out that this type of behavior is typical for Butler.
“He’s always done that tbh. Rare for him to get up,” one person shared.
“If it ain’t the playoffs he’s always like this lmaoo,” someone added.

Jimmy Butler returned to action against the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Despite their star returning to the lineup, the Heat struggled against the Nuggets, losing 133-113.
In that game, Butler scored 18 points on a 7-for-15 shooting clip. Those 18 points were right around what is expected of him based on his season average of 17.6 points per game. He also grabbed three rebounds and two assists.
Against the Spurs, Butler had a quiet performance. He only scored eight points (3-for-7) while seeing nearly 28 minutes of action. He also grabbed three rebounds, dished seven assists and rejected two shots.
Aside from averaging 17.6 ppg, Jimmy Butler has also contributed about 5.4 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 23 appearances this season.
