Until January 26, Stéphanie de Monaco will make the Espace Fontvieille marquee her second home. As president of the Monte-Carlo Circus Festival since 2005, the princess launched the 47th edition of this event which is close to her heart this Friday, January 17. She was accompanied by her daughter Camille Gottlieb and her son Louis Ducruet, who came with his wife Marie Ducruet. Stéphane Bern was also by their side. It was this time in the company of her daughter that Prince Albert's sister made her appearance during the second evening of the Circus Festival. When they arrived on the scene, the two women, accomplices, received two magnificent bouquets of flowers from the hands of clowns. If “she is fully involved in the design and organization of shows with the major concern to respect the traditional circus”, et “to select the best international acts and to bring professionalism to the staging of the Festival”, she is also concerned about animal welfare. “We pay more attention to animals than to ourselves”, revealed Tommy Cardarelli, technical and animal manager on the festival team to Monaco Morning on January 17.
