Ebony or Franck in the final? This was the challenge of the “Star Academy” bonus broadcast on Saturday, under the watchful eye of Marine. The latter having already received her ticket. After more than three months spent at the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys, the verdict is historic: for the first time on TF1, the final will be 100% female.
However, both Ebony and Franck surpassed themselves during the evening. They shared the stage with Zaz, before each performing a duet with a guest: Ebony with Youssou N'Dour on 7 Seconds, Franck with Marc Lavoine on “Elle a les yeux revolver”.
But it was solo that they made the most impact. Ebony shocked the audience by performing “Don’t judge me” by Camille Lellouche, while Franck delivered a very personal version of “Commeils dit” by Charles Aznavour. The evening concluded with a final duel with “Parce que c’est toi” by Axelle Red.
-Victory went to Ebony. “Thank you very much, I’m so happy. I am very grateful, this is the first time I have been confronted with public votes,” she said in reaction to this announcement.
The final between Ebony and Marine will take place on January 25. The winner will succeed Pierre Garnier and will win a check for 100,000 euros as well as a contract with Sony Music.
