Originally scheduled for 1is January, this promotion was postponed due to the fall of Michel Barnier's government. In fact, François Bayrou's council of ministers, barely in place, was unable to make a decision in time, thus delaying the official announcement.
This year, a special tribute is paid to those who contributed to the rebirth of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral, with a special promotion. Thus, Philippe Jost, president of the public establishment responsible for the conservation of the monument, receives the Legion of Honor. Among the 101 people decorated, we find entrepreneurs, craftsmen and construction managers who worked for the restoration of the national jewel.
