Saturday’s Premier League 3pm predictions
Brentford vs Liverpool predictions
Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest means Liverpool’s only win of the year has come against League Two strugglers Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup, with a defeat at Tottenham and a 2-2 stalemate with Manchester United making up the Reds’ other results in 2025.
Those shaky showings suggest the Premier League leaders may be enduring somewhat of a wobble and a run of one clean sheet in seven league outings is nothing like what we saw in the early days of Arne Slot’s tenure.
Brentford may not be as consistent as third-placed Forest, and a positive result may prove unachievable, but there is enough to like about the Bees to suggest they can have some joy at the Gtech.
Liverpool’s defence has been breached regularly of late and Brentford’s most in-form attacker, Yoane Wissa, could pounce if given a chance against the leaders.
The Bees forward scored his side’s first goal in their comeback draw against Manchester City on Tuesday and he has netted nine times in as many Premier League home games this term, making 3-1 a big price for him to put one past Alisson.
Brentford vs Liverpool team news
Brentford: Igor Thiago, Aaron Hickey, Ethan Pinnock, Josh Dasilva, Gustavo Nunes, Ryan Trevitt and Kristoffer Ajer remain out. Rico Henry is fit again but Keane Lewis-Potter should continue at left-back.
Liverpool: Joe Gomez is the Reds’ only confirmed absentee although Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz must be assessed. Darwin Nunez returns from suspension.
Brentford vs Liverpool predicted line-ups
Brentford (4-3-3): The stain; Roerslev, Collins, Van den Berg, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt, Jensen; Mbeumo, Wissa, Damsgaard
Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Jones, Gakpo; Nunez

Leicester vs Fulham predictions
A quick glance at the score does not tell the full story of Fulham’s defeat at West Ham as they were the better side in east London, won the expected goals 1.7-1.0 and lost because of their own defensive errors.
Andreas Pereira and then Bernd Leno gifted the Hammers two of their goals on Tuesday and the Cottagers are unlikely to make the same sloppy mistakes at the King Power.
It is also worth noting that West Ham were boosted by the match marking Graham Potter’s first at home since taking over. New-manager bounce was possibly at play – something which has already fizzled out at Leicester.
Ruud van Nistelrooy beat West Ham and drew with Brighton in his first two games as Foxes boss but has gone on to lose his subsequent six Premier League matches by an aggregate score of 16-2, with the three King Power outings in that run seeing Leicester beaten to nil.
Fulham had gone nine games without a defeat prior to the loss at West Ham and they can make it four head-to-head wins on the spin.
Leicester vs Fulham team news
Leicester: Mads Hermansen, Ricardo Pereira, Wilfried Ndidi and Abdul Fatawu are out. Woyo Coulibaly could make his debut and Odsonne Edouard is available again after missing the loss against his parent club Crystal Palace.
Fulham: Emile Smith Rowe has joined long-term absentees Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson on the sidelines.
Leicester vs Fulham predicted line-ups
Leicester (4-2-3-1): Stolarczyk; Justin, Faes, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Winks, Soumare; Buonanotte, El Khannouss, Ayew; Vardy
Fulham (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Wilson, Pereira, Iwobi; Jimenez
Leicester vs Fulham key stat
Leicester have lost their last six Premier League games by an aggregate score of 16-2

West Ham vs Crystal Palace predictions
The early signs suggest West Ham may end the season strongly under Graham Potter, with a 2-1 FA Cup defeat at Aston Villa and a 3-2 home win over Fulham in the Premier League extremely encouraging.
Potter is having to do without numerous key men, too, with Jarrod Bowen, Niclas Fullkrug and Jean-Clair Todibo among the Hammers’ absentees, so those displays deserve plenty of credit.
However, West Ham still rode their luck against Fulham, being gifted two goals via defensive errors by the Cottagers and they may not be so fortunate in this London derby.
Crystal Palace have really picked up following a slow start to the season, losing just three of their last 16 matches in all competitions. The Eagles also boast an excellent recent record against the Hammers, losing only three of the last 12 head-to-heads, suggesting they should hold their own.
Renewed optimism around the London Stadium should spur Potter’s side on but Palace are more settled under Oliver Glasner and the spoils may be shared.
West Ham vs Crystal Palace team news
West Ham: Jarrod Bowen, Niclas Fullkrug, Michail Antonio, Jean-Clair Todibo and Alphonse Areola make up a lengthy injury list but Crysencio Summerville could return.
Crystal Palace: Matheus Franca and Adam Wharton are still some way off featuring and Trevoh Chalobah’s loan has been cut short by Chelsea. Jefferson Lerma has been ruled out with illness and Ismaila Sarr is a doubt.
West Ham vs Crystal Palace predicted line-ups
West Ham (4-2-3-1): Fabianski; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Alvarez, Rodriguez; Paqueta, Soucek, Soler; Kudus
Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1): Henderson; Richards, Lacroix, Guehi; Munoz, Doucoure, Hughes, Mitchell; Nketiah, Eze; Tests
West Ham vs Crystal Palace key stat
Only Brighton (ten) have more Premier League draws than Crystal Palace’s nine this season.
