The 2024/25 Biathlon World Cup continues on Saturday. The women's relay will then take place in Ruhpolding. chiemgau24.de is in the live ticker today.
Ruhpolding – The women's relay takes place on the penultimate day of the Biathlon World Cup in Ruhpolding. Um 2:20 p.m it starts in the Chiemgau Arena, chiemgau24.de is today in the live ticker for the biathlon included.
The German team then sort of sets itself up. Vanessa Voigt and Julia Tannheimer will no longer be competing in Ruhpolding for health reasons, and they will also forego the mass start on Sunday.

In the case of Voigt, the situation is so complicated that she has to will suspend the upcoming World Cup in Antholz. A persistent infection has been bothering the Thuringian since the last World Cup before Christmas. In order not to risk anything with regard to the Biathlon World Cup, they decided to take this drastic step.
It is unclear when Tannheimer will return to the World Cup. So only four women from the German team remain. Stefanie Scherer, Selina Grotian, Sophia Schneider and Franziska Preuß form the German formation in the 4×6 kilometer race with a total of eight shooting events.
