San Sebastián, January 13. (EFE). – Villarreal coach, Marcelino García Toral, after the narrow defeat (1-0) at the Reale Arena, highlighted that “an error and a great play by a good footballer determined the match.”

The coach assessed in a press conference that his team was “only” inferior to Real in the result, and stressed that if the colors are removed from the equation, “Villarreal did not deserve to lose.”

The Asturian was satisfied with “coming to Anoeta and having the opponent only do one attacking action”, despite the fact that that same action ended in the goal that tipped the balance.

Regarding the irregular moment his team is going through, Marcelino highlighted that the details are against them, although “this is football and these are stages that occur throughout the competition.” EFE
