Here’s how Barcelona’s players performed in the first half of the match against Real Madrid:
Mbappé – UNSTOPPABLE
On his first real opportunity, he fired a shot past the newly appointed goalkeeper without breaking a sweat. He didn’t seem as composed as he was in his first two games as a Barça player.
Koundé – EXEMPLARY
While he generally focused on defending his wing, he also delivered a brilliant curling pass that made it 3-1.
Cubarsí – ALERT
Against such a demanding attacking line, he played a solid first half, meeting the standards required at this level.
Iñigo Martínez – ZRAZONY
He suffered a muscle injury due to the frenetic pace of the first half and had to be replaced.
Bucket – PROTAGONIST
After a somewhat shaky start, he initially struggled to control the ball and close down Mbappé for the first goal. However, he quickly recovered and managed to beat Courtois with a powerful run just before the break.

He lost the ball to Vinicius, which made it 1-0, which could have influenced the result of the match. Fortunately, he quickly rehabilitated himself, applying adequate pressure throughout the first half.
Pedri – EXPECTED
After his outstanding performance in the semi-final against Athletic, he was expected to be crucial for Barcelona in the final. Fortunately, the team didn’t rely too much on seeing his best self in a solid first half, as he contributed to the run to make it 4-1.
Gavi – INFLUENTIAL
His commitment and skills were visible. The academy graduate brought his renowned intensity and delivered a superb pass to Raphinha for almost a goal. He later scored a penalty to make it 1-2, past the careless Camavinga.
Raphinha – DESTRUCTOR
He was heavily involved in Barcelona’s early chances, forcing two saves from Courtois, but came from nowhere to score a fantastic header to make it 3-1 and assisted Balde’s goal to make it 4-1.
