The Meeting Moniz Pereira, held yesterday at the Centro de Alto Rendimento do Jamor, had a good set of results, with emphasis on Benfica’s Gerson Baldé, who won the long jump with 8.11 in the last test, a mark that confirms his qualification for the European Championships. Indoor Track next March in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands.
In the women’s shot put, Benfica’s Eliana Bandeira won with 17.69 m, just one centimeter more than Sporting’s Jéssica Inchude.
In the 60 m T20, Sporting player Igor Oliveira won in 6.85, which is a new world record that he already held at 6.88.
