We have sunshine filtering through high clouds this afternoon. Now as we proceed through the rest of the afternoon into the evening, cloud cover will begin to increase ahead of our next light snow maker. High pressure passing across the Mid-Atlantic have helped to ease the wind to 5-10 mph this afternoon. Highs will reach the low 30s.IMPACT NIGHT:Tonight, low pressure will approach from the Midwest, and light snow will begin between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. from west to east. Steady, light snow will fall overnight, amounting to a coating to 1″ for most of the area. There could be a few spots that get 2″. Snow will end from west to east by 8 a.m. Because temperatures will be in the 20s as snow falls, it will stick to all surfaces, including the roads. Please use caution when traveling early Saturday.We’ll see mostly cloudy skies and highs near 34 Saturday afternoon. Some clearing is possible toward evening. Wind speeds will range from 5-15 mph.Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies and highs around 36 degrees.
