62 departments on alert including nine in orange : the weather continues to play tricks in France, with a large part of the country impacted by alerts, this Friday January 10, 2025.
Snow, ice and floods
The departments affected by orange vigilance are, as has been the case for several days, located in the northern part of the country. And they are, again, for snow, ice and floods. Here is who is impacted this Friday:

- Oise: floods
- Val-d’Oise: floods
- Seine-Maritime: floods
- Eure: floods
- Calvados: raw
- Ille-et-Vilaine: floods
What to expect?
Météo France speaks of a “new disruption which approaches the northwest of the country. Snowfall are expected along an axis going from Normandy to Burgundy”. Still for this Friday, forecasters are working on “significant floods on the Dives, the middle and downstream Orne, the Touques-Orbiquet-Calonne, the Epte, the Seiche and the median Vilaine, the upstream Vilaine, the Meu and the Sèvre Nantaise”.
-Yellow still omnipresent
62 territories of the country are, for their part, impacted by a yellow vigilance. Snow and floods are also to be monitored, as are wind, rain and avalanches. Occitanie is only affected because of the Lotin yellow for floods. A large southern third of the country, except Corsica, escapes any alert for this second Friday of the year.
Two deaths in the North
The Northern prefecture announced on Thursday, that two people died following these winter bad weather. Several injuries were also reported following road accidents caused by snow and ice.
