Guest on TF1 this Wednesday morning, Louis Aliot confirmed the date of the funeral of the co-founder of the National Front, who died this Tuesday, January 7. He also reacted the day after the rallies celebrating the death of the “Menhir”.
The funeral of Jean-Marie Le Pen, who died this Tuesday January 7, will be held this Saturday January 11 in La Trinité-sur-Mer, in Morbihan, “in family privacy”. This is what Louis Aliot, vice-president of the National Rally (RN) and mayor of Perpignan, said this Wednesday morning on the set of “Hello! La matinale” on TF1, confirming information from West France . Jean-Marie Le Pen was born in 1928 in the family home in Trinité-sur-Mer.
Invited just a few hours after landing in Paris with Marine Le Pen after three days of traveling to Mayotte with the population affected by Cyclone Chido, he confirmed that the daughter of the co-founder of the National Front learned of her father's death through the press. “This is part of the hazards of a busy political life, because it [Marine Le Pen] did not go to Mayotte on vacation”underlined Louis Aliot.
“A linked family”
If the way in which Marine Le Pen learned the news may have been surprising, the vice-president of the RN and former companion of her party leader insisted on the cohesion of the Le Pen clan: “It’s a close family, the three sisters are a perfect match.”
Louis Aliot also spoke about the gatherings which were held this Tuesday evening in Paris, Marseille and Lyon, to celebrate the death of Jean-Marie Le Pen with songs, smoke bombs and fireworks. “This dirty racist is dead”said in Paris a sign brandished in the crowd of a few hundred people who formed at the start of the evening at Place de la République, and where a few flags of the New Anti-Capitalist Party (NPA) were flying. “We can clearly see that there are respectful tributes. And then you have the bitch. These people, if they are not supervised, will end up taking action. […] These people are capable of anything”insisted the mayor of Perpignan.
Asked about the status of Marine Le Pen, who became her father's political heir, Louis Aliot acquiesced. “Marine Le Pen created her political formation on a movement called the National Front, and by changing the original software. She is at the gates of power, she is continuing to put the interests of the French above all else.he indicated.
