Zara Tindall has narrowly escaped injury after a horse reared up and landed on her during a photoshoot in Australia.

The 43-year-old is currently enjoying some quality time with her 46-year-old husband, Mike Tindall, on the other side of the world.

Zara and Mike, who have travelled without their three children, are Down Under for the Magic Millions Races – an event she is an ambassador for.

The near-miss incident occurred during a photoshoot on the Gold Coast, where Zara was seen posing in front of three horses—all of which had jockeys on them.

In the video, which MailOnline exclusively obtained, Zara can be seen holding the reins of two of the massive animals and beaming.

As Zara stands smiling, suddenly, one of the horses lurches forward and comes down hard on her shoulder.

She is then pushed to the side and can be seen visibly shaken up as the jockey tries to regain control of the animal.

The injury scare comes just six months after Princess Anne was believed to be struck in the head by a horse while walking on her Gatcombe Park Estate.

The royal has no recollection of the incident and was treated in hospital for a concussion and head injury.

Back in September, Zara also took a tumble from her horse at the Burghley Horse Trials too.

With her husband and children – Mia, 10, Lena, 6, and Lucas, 3 – watching on, Zara was competing at the event in Stamford, Lincolnshire, when she fell during a cross-country event.
