WWE Raw has officially debuted on Netflix tonight and The Undertaker passed the torch to Rhea Ripley after she reclaimed the Women’s World Championship.

The premiere of Monday Night Raw is streaming live on the platform with legends like, John Cena, CM Punk and Roman Reigns all confirmed for the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

The Aussie superstar defeated her rival Liv Morgan to recapture the gold, and her celebration was interrupted bu the Dead Man’s gong as she posed on the ramp.

The Phenom came out on a motorbike in his American Bad Ass persona, riding down the rope and around the ring before acknowledging Rhea in a feel good moment.

After the bell, Dominik Mysterio tried to hug Rhea and reignite their rivalry, but earned himself a swift kick to the crotch and the Riptide.

Elsewhere, John Cena kicked off his retirement tour with a major Royal Rumble announcement.

A few hours after the professional wrestling giant confirmed the 2026 Rumble is heading to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, the wrestler turned Hollywood star confirmed his plans for next year’s edition.

After insisting he had a ‘better chance at winning an Oscar’ than capturing a record-breaking 17th world championship, Cena realised the annual event could be his ticket to WrestleMania.

‘Crazy idea! But maybe I could win the Royal Rumble? I know it’s a long shot but just hear me out,’ he said. ‘I should play right? I should be in the Rumble?’

Cena insisted that ‘nothing’s impossible’, adding: ‘I’m going to win the Royal Rumble. You want some? Come get some!’

Keep checking this page as Metro brings you all the hard hitting action as it happens with a stacked match card and more.

Earlier in the night, Roman Reigns beat Solo Sikoa in the very first match of the new era.

Tribal Combat was the first bout of the broadcast, and it was every bit as chaotic as the Attitude Era with everyone from Jacob Fatu and Kevin Owens to Sami Zayn, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes getting involved.

The OTC emerged victorious, but Roman’s celebration was cut short as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson walked back to the ring to present him with the traditional Ula Fala in a passing of the torch.

After an introduction from Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, Dwayne actually made his return to WWE to a huge ovation to truly start the Netflix Era before the opening bout.

As well as opening up about his own family history, the Great One gave shout outs to the fans, Netflix executives and even Cody Rhodes, who was shown in the crowd and has ‘carried this company on his back’ for the last year.

‘Tell Mama Rhodes The Rock says hello,’ he quipped, before also acknowledging Roman Reigns and hinting he’ll be watching his Tribal Combat match with Solo Sikoa ‘closely’.

The New Day cut a promo to a chorus of boos from the live crowd in LA, while another vignette aired confirming that Penta is coming, with a big tease later in the evening hinting that he’ll be facing Chad Gable next week.

In the crowd, everyone from Seth Green and Macaulay Culkin to Ashton Kutcher were shown in the front row.

Travis Scott appeared to be smoking a joint as he accompanied Jey Uso through the crowd for an explosive entrance for the latter’s match with Scottish superstar Drew McIntyre.

The former world champion has been on a crusade against The Bloodline and anyone else who’s wronged him, but ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso was able to escape with the win.

There are rumours the likes of Hulk Hogan and NXT boss Shawn Michaels could be part of the show, while CM Punk will take on Seth Rollins in an intense grudge match main event with very real animosity between the rivals.

Another heavy rumour for tonight was the impending debut of Pentagon Jr – AKA Penta El Zero Miedo – after he left rivals All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in November 2024.

Mysterious vignettes have been playing on Raw in recent weeks, with all signs pointing to the intimidating masked luchador finally arriving on the red brand.

Penta left AEW after his contract expired, but his Lucha Bros tag partner Rey Fenix remains with the company after reports boss Tony Khan added a significant amount of injury time to his deal.

Michael Cole and Pat McAfee will be reunited as the Raw commentary team for Netflix, with their predecessors Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore presenting a live post-show immediately after the main broadcast.

However, WWE boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has confirmed that Tessitore – who has been a hit with fans – will be part of the SmackDown team.

Speaking to the SI Media with Jimmy Traina podcast, he also confirmed the Raw runtime will be ‘flexible’ on Netflix.

‘Much like many episodic shows, they have the ability to do whatever the show needs to have down,’ he said. ‘If this episode needs to be an hour, great, it’s an hour. If the next episode needs to be 42 minutes, it’s 42 minutes. It’s what makes for the best product.’

Netflix is now the home of WWE in the UK.
