“Who would have thought one day they would see a Bordeaux – Locminé? » To the question asked by Locmin captain Marvin Luciathe, few people are likely to raise their hands. But this end of the Christmas holidays offers a last nice gift for Locminois supporters with a historic trip to the club which has won six times in Ligue 1 and administratively demoted to N2, this summer.
“Playing the Girondins de Bordeaux, in relation to their past, their history, it looks more like a Coupe de France match than a championship,” admits Florent Besnard, one of the Locminois coaches.

It's a big city and a big club against a club with small means which is making its own way with players, like me, who work”, explains the bank advisor who had to put down his Friday afternoon and his Saturday to experience this meeting.
Carroll against Quemard and Co.
The Locminois in fact left Morbihan on Friday around 2 p.m. with the firm intention of taking up the challenge against the Girondins, their 29 federal contracts (0 for Locminé) and their budget of around 8 million euros (700,000 for Locminé). “It’s good to come up against this kind of teams with players like Carroll or Diallo who was at Newcastle, a pivot who spent full seasons in Ligue 2,” concludes Besnard.
