Inter are the first finalists of the Italian Super Cup. In the semi-final, at the Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, coach Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri beat Atalanta 2-0 to gain a pass for the last act of the tournament scheduled for 6 January against the winner of Juventus-Milan. The absolute protagonist is Denzel Dumfries, with the Dutchman who first breaks the deadlock with a bicycle kick, then doubles the score with a very powerful shot from the edge that goes under the crossbar.
A success that once again certifies the excellent form of Inzaghi’s team: Inter – as reported by Opta data – have won five games in a row without conceding a goal in all competitions for the fourth time in their history ( since 1929/30), the first from the period between November and December 2007 (six in that case).
