New year, new station name: Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are renaming ProSieben and starting ProAcht on Thursday evening at prime time. At 8:20 p.m. the presenter duo presses the start button in the broadcast center – ProAcht is on the air.
In the New Year’s gala of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” the two employees win against their employer on New Year’s Eve and thus earn a very special prize. For one week, Joko & Klaas are allowed to rename ProSieben according to their wishes, the choice falls on ProAcht. More than just a change of logo: the renaming of ProAcht is taking place with all the visible and invisible consequences.
ProAcht channel manager Hannes Hiller: “The renaming to ProAcht is a mammoth project for our entire station. All programs that will be broadcast within the week were screened in advance and recorded with ProAcht naming. All trailers, advertising dividers, station IDs, microphone protectors, legal notice boards and our online channels and press pages are now adapted to ProAcht. You can find the ProAcht live stream and the media library on Joyn Presenters welcome the audience in all shows and magazines on ProAcht – from ‘taff’ to ‘Galileo’ to ‘TV total Promi-Wrestling’. We have set up the website proacht.de, e-mail addresses and even a ProAcht teletext . Our entire team has made adjustments down to the smallest detail and is living ProAcht this week. An incredibly big thank you to all our colleagues.”
ProAcht will be on air from now until after the broadcast of “TV total” on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 8:15 p.m. and will start its program with entertainment fireworks:
Saturday, January 4th, 8:15 p.m
Sebastian Pufpaff, Fabian Hambüchen, Simon Gosejohann, Matthias Mester, Evil Jared Hasselhoff and Renee Casselly get into the ring for the first time on ProAcht at “TV total celebrity wrestling”.
Sunday, January 5th, 8:15 p.m
The newly crowned darts world champion. The best darts players in the world. Prominent darts rookies. Christian Düren presents the “Celebrity Darts World Cup” from Düsseldorf on ProAcht. Elmar Paulke comments.
Monday, January 6th, from 8:15 p.m
At the start of the year, Sebastian Pufpaff serves up star chef Nelson Müller in the first 2025 edition of “TV total – But with a guest”. Chris Tall then introduces actress Anna Maria bother on “Chris Do you do that?” faced with a scary challenge.
Wednesday, January 8th, from 8:15 p.m
“TV total” delivers funny TV treats for the holiday weeks. And in the “Quatsch Comedy Show” Tahnee and Khalid Bounouar serve fine comedy with fresh comedians.
Saturday, January 11th, 8:15 p.m., live
The entertainment fireworks complete a new edition of “Schlag den Star” with the married duel Detlef Soost and Kate Hall against Eko Fresh and Sarah Bora – then again as usual on ProSieben.
In “Joko & Klaas: Good Night on ProAcht,” viewers are also accompanied to bed every day with their own nighttime program.
