WE’VE reached the crunch stages of the World Darts Championships with the semi-finals taking place TONIGHT.
It’s been a cracker of a tournament so far and there have been some thrilling match-ups over the last three weeks at Ally Pally.
The big shock was titleholder and World No 1 Luke Humphries crashing out to Peter Wright at the last 16 stage.
But tournament favourite Luke Littler has lived up to the expectation so far, battling his way through some tricky match-ups to reach the semis.
He now stands just two wins away from doing what he fell short of doing last year – winning the world title in record-breaking fashion.
But in his way stands Stephen Bunting and a meeting with either Chris Dobey or Michael van Gerwen in the final.
What time is Michael van Gerwen vs Chris Dobey?
Van Gerwen is competing in yet another semi-final tonight while Dobey reached his first ever worlds semi with a nervy 5-3 win over Gerwyn Price.
MVG overcame Callan Rydz by the same scoreline yesterday and is looking to win his fourth ever title.
Van Gerwen vs Dobey will get underway from around 7.40pm GMT tonight.
The winner will face Littler or Bunting in Friday night’s final.
