The event series “Departure” is finally arriving in on Netflix. A look back at this Canadian phenomenon with its breathtaking suspense!

Since its release in 2020, the “Departure” series has unleashed passions. This creation by Vince Shiao arrives in France this January 1 with its suspenseful intrigues. A success dubbed by critics as evidenced by a nomination for the Canadian Screen Award for best drama series in 2021.

Viewers discover the wanderings of Kendra Malley, a renowned investigator at TSIB, an office dedicated to transportation mysteries. The latter tackles large-scale investigations such as train accidents or plane disappearances. Disasters far from being trivial since they would be caused by an enigmatic plot.

A star-studded cast

This series is made up of a prestigious cast with Archie Panjabi in the title role, also known for his performance in “The Good Wife”. To give him the answer, an equally appreciative cast with the late Christophe Plummer (“The Sound of ”) and Mark Rendall (“”).

The public will be able to discover the first two seasons of the Canadian show, made up of six episodes each, on the streaming platform. To watch the last season released in 2023, you will have to be patient, because no date has yet been revealed.
