Liam Kelly: Didn’t have a whole lot to do but was assured with the ball at his feet and made a fine save from a Reo Hatate shot. A calming presence and he certainly didn’t let anyone down coming in for the injured Jack Butland. 7
Ridvan Yilmaz: He was superb in an unfamiliar right-back berth and took care of the not-insignificant threat presented by Japanese winger Daizen Maeda. While he started the game slowly, the little Turk came into the game the longer it went on and can be very proud of his day’s work. 8
Robin Propper: The Dutch defender is much better in games like this than dealing with the physical battle and he didn’t put a foot wrong all afternoon. Marshalled his back line well and scored from close range which will surely do wonders for his confidence. 8
Dujon Sterling: A steady-Eddie performance from the Chelsea graduate who made a number of excellent last ditch interceptions. A big player in the future of the Ibrox club given his ability to play almost every position competently except striker. 7
gift: Excellent in both directions and delivered a fine ball for Danilo’s game-capping third. A really good find by Sporting Director Nils Koppen for just £500k. 7

Nico Raskin: An outstanding showing from the captain for the day. A performance of constant tenacity and controlled aggression, dominating and outshining highly rated opponents. Assisted the first two goals showing he’s not just a destroyer. The Belgian is now Rangers’ main man after an inexplicably wayward spell. 9
Mohamed Diomande: Another excellent display, although his energy levels understandably dipped as the game went on. Showed nimble footwork in a number of tight situations and seems to be growing into the demands of the club. Won a lot of second balls. 9
Nedim Bajrami: Capable of the sublime and the sloppy, the Albanian showcased both today. There were moments of real class and others where poor decision-making killed attacking momentum. He did once again though, do perhaps the key role of the game and one many others have failed in. Callum McGregor isn’t strolling these games with Bajrami buzzing around him. And for that, he gets an extra point that his attacking play didn’t merit. 8
Ianis Hagi: Watching the Romanian in full flow, it must be utterly maddening to Rangers supporters he was allowed to leave on loan by Michael Beale before being frozen out for the first months of the season. Grit, determination and no end of quality, Hagi needs to be a mainstay of Clement’s plan for 2025. A brilliant goal was just reward for his heroics. 9
Vaclav Cenry: A constant menace to Celtic, he hit both the post and the bar. Clement will surely do everything in his power to arrange for the Czechia star to remain in Govan beyond his loan. 8
Hamza Igmane: A quiet afternoon where nothing ever fully came off for the young Morrocan but he toiled manfully and offered a useful focal point. 6

Danilo: Scored with his first touch and caused problems after he was introduced. Looks increasingly like he can be a big player for Rangers in the months ahead as he adds to his fitness. 7
