Nostradamus could not have been a popular invite when it came to parties back in his day.
Because here we are heading into another year — 2025 is here baby! — and taking a peep at the ancient astrologer’s predictions for what is ahead of us … well, let’s just hope he is wrong. Because, if he isn’t, it’s ballgame folks.
Before we dive into that very, very bad prediction though, it is to be noted that Nostradamus — the History Channel calls him history’s “Most famous seer,” has been dead for a long time and he delivered his visions in the form quatrains. So, these predictions are also interpretations, which thankfully leaves some wiggle room.
Because, according to at least one reportthere is an ominous quatrain above all others for 2025.
“From the cosmos, a fireball will rise, a harbinger of fate, the world pleads,” it reads. “Science and fate in a cosmic dance, The fate of the Earth, a second chance.”
See. Told you this guy is a real buzzkill.
Imagine how insufferable he was when he was alive. Anyway, so there are folks out there interpreting that to come up with the prediction that an asteroid is going to kill us all.
And it certainly does kind of look like that is a possibility. Maybe the “second chance” reference means we will pull the nose up on things if an asteroid does come skirting our way.
The rest of the predictions are just about as fun, according to this report.
Among them: war breaks out in England and a plague, too, along with volcanic eruptions and floods in Brazil. Also, per the report, his predictions mention a “mysterious leader” emerging to form “an aquatic empire,” which seems altogether silly until you consider all the folks who claim these unidentified drones are coming from out of the ocean.
And, yeah, buckle up. Have a good New Year’s Eve and hope old negative Nostradamus was wrong or misinterpreted.
