The accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on January 1, 2025, rue Détaillé in the La Bastide district of Limoges.
A car hit a STCL (Société des Transports en Commun de Limoges) pole.
HAS in the vehicle four young people aged 19 to 26 years old.
According to firefighters, the occupants of the car had been removed from the vehicle by witnesses to the accident before their arrival.
The vehicle caught fire. 24 firefighters were mobilized on site.
A 26-year-old man died, two other people aged 23 and 26 were transported to the Limoges University Hospital in absolute emergency, a young woman of 19 in relative emergency.
