Between 2015 and 2017, Ryad Boudebouz made an impression at the MHSC despite a complicated sporting context. Fighting mainly to maintain, Montpellier could nevertheless count on the technique and the efficient vision of the game of the Algerian international. In two seasons, he played 73 matches in the orange and blue colors, scoring 13 goals and providing 21 assists, a remarkable total which testifies to his importance in the collective, in particular thanks to his connection with Steve Mounié. These performances allowed him to join the prestigious Spanish championship and Bétis Sevilla.
Today, after a stint in Saudi Arabia, the playmaker has returned to his roots. He now plays in Algeria, under the colors of Jeunesse Sportive de Kabylie (JSK). And he continues to impress: in 9 matches, Boudebouz has scored 4 goals and delivered 3 assists, largely contributing to placing his team at the top of the local championship (after 12 days).
With 25 caps for the Algerian national team to his credit, he continues to shine and fly the colors of his country. We wish him to continue this momentum and, why not, to win a national title with the JSK. A great way to extend the story of a talented and respected player.
