Sheikh Muhammad Awad, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, said that consuming drugs and intoxicants in all their forms and forms is a waste of the human being, a destruction of the soul, annihilation of souls, a waste of wombs, and the severing of the bonds of love. How many homes have been destroyed, how much money has been destroyed, how many children have been displaced, how many young people have been lost, and the sanctity of religion has been robbed from minds and hearts. .
Awad added, in the Friday sermon from the Al-Abbasi Mosque in Port Said Governorate, speaking on the subject of “Drugs are a waste to man,” that the Holy Prophet says, “Wine is the greatest of major sins and the mother of immoralities, and God has made a covenant that whoever drinks it will give him drink of the clay of immorality.” They said, “O Messenger of God, and what is it.” Al-Khabal? He said: The juice of the people of Hell.
He continued: It is a message of pity for those who fell into these painful clutches: Be gentle with your mind, O man, and have mercy on your family, and save yourself, and know that happiness is not in a chemical dose that kills the soul, destroys the mind, and hastens death, but happiness is in a remembering tongue, a full heart, good company, and brilliant success.
