Things are getting tough for the candidates of the 13th season of Best pastry chef. Already twelve weeks that they have competed in imagination to take up the most arduous challenges launched by Mercotte and Cyril Lignac. There are only four left in the running, four who knew how to avoid the traps set, delight the taste buds of the jury and amaze with precise training. However, a surprise awaits amateur pastry chefs this week: no candidate will be eliminated at the end of the show. We give you the reasons.

On December 19, Romain had to leave the competition, barely a week after joining the competition tent. The theme of Portugal had not brought him luck. He had then lost all hope of getting to the final, a quest so hoped for by the four candidates still in the race. For José, Tsiory, Benjamin and Timothée, the dream is within reach. Tsiory has a slight additional pressure : holder of the blue apron awarded last week at the end of the surprise test, he must honor this distinction, especially at this level of the competition. Candidates will need to demonstrate concentration while drawing on their memories by revisiting family recipes. Their place in the final depends on it.
Why are there no eliminated candidates in The Best Pastry Chef 2024 before the final?
Accustomed to the stress of hoping not to hear your name at the end of the surprise test, Tsiroy, José, Timothée and Benjamin are not going to take a breather this week because no elimination is announced.
