Change of ritual for the Coupe de France. For only the third time in the 21st centurye century, the 32es of the Coupe de France finals are played before the winter break, from Friday December 20 to Sunday December 22. The reason is the calendar. The French Football Federation had to deal with two fewer dates, due to the Champions League and Europa League days scheduled for the end of January.
The 16es The finals are therefore scheduled for Wednesday January 15. And to allow clubs and authorities to organize themselves accordingly, these could not take place on the first weekend of the month, as is usually the case. Decision was therefore made to reverse the 16e day of Ligue 1 and the 32es of the Coupe de France final.
