You have just been eliminated after an elimination on penalties against a Ligue 2 resident, how do you feel?
I think the whole team played a very good match. In the goals, I did everything to hold on. We all held on. We didn't want to go to penalties and we preferred it to happen before but unfortunately, the game took us until this session. And today it came against us.
You were decisive, particularly on several stops, is that still a satisfaction for you?
Today, I was keen to be the hero of the match again like in the last match against Beaumont-Saint-Cyr. My teammates were a little upset about this. I wanted to show them the opposite and show everyone that an R1 team could compete with a professional club. We managed to do it and offer what we wanted. And even if success is not at the end, we can only be proud to have been on an equal footing with them!
You have just experienced an incredible and historic epic for the club in this Coupe de France, what do you remember from it?
Yes, it's a great journey for everyone, especially for us who are young because it's our first senior year. I repeat it but we can really be proud even if there is a lot of disappointment at the end. We can talk about it for at least ten or fifteen years!
Even if it's certainly complicated to react when it's hot, what do you think was missing to achieve the feat until the end?
A goal, obviously. Afterwards, the players who were present did the work. We were really equal and we must emphasize that. Afterwards, it came down to penalties where they were better than us.
