From Monday December 23, ‘Huizenjagers’ will return to Play4 with brand new episodes. Three real estate agents can give the best of themselves in the so-called ‘million week’. During that week, ‘Love Island’ winner Jotti Verbruggen (29) calls in real estate agents to find her exclusive dream home and she also provides the highest budget ever in ‘Huizenjagers’.
Verbruggen took part in the third season of ‘Love Island’ in 2022. She won the TV program together with her pairing partner Cas Hooijer. Shortly afterwards the couple separated.
Two years later, Jotti is ready for a new chapter in her life and that includes a new place for herself and her boyfriend Jan. In ‘Huizenjagers’ she will look for a chic villa with wellness, swimming pool and extensive dressing room in Sint-Martens-Latem for no less than 4 million euros.
‘Big Brother’ candidate Nouchka also gives confidence to the three million-dollar brokers. She and her boyfriend Thomas are looking for a property by the sea. Their budget? €1,150,000.
They dream of a large villa with lots of light and preferably a sauna and wellness area. When they are presented with an ultra-modern building with an impressive sea view, the enthusiastic couple is left speechless.
Space for 10 cars
The other candidates who will be discussed during the million-dollar week are Karen & Laurence and Angélique & Stephan.
Karen runs a successful aesthetic clinic and is looking for a building that combines work and living. Her ideal location? West Flanders, close to busy roads, with parking for at least 10 cars. For €1,300,000 she hopes to find a property with character and commercial possibilities. During the search she is assisted by colleague and best friend Laurence.
Now that Angélique wants to live closer to her friends, she and Stephan are looking for a spacious open-plan building in Varsenare. With a budget of € 1,200,000, they are looking for a house with at least five bedrooms, a second bathroom and space for their large comic collection.
