Father of three children, Sasha – born from his relationship with Claudia, a dancer of Brazilian origin from the Paradis Latin troupe – and twins Jules and Bella – born from his union with Lola Marois – Jean-Marie Bigard lives with joy the end of year celebrations by discovering the amazed eyes of your children as they discover their Christmas presents under the tree. However, he regrets the celebrations he experienced when he himself was a child.
Friday December 20, 2024, on the set of the show Chez Jordan, on C8, the comedian initially declared:
“My good old town of Troyes, the less I go there, the better I feel because the only place I’m going to go is to the cemetery. And it refreshes too many problems for me so I prefer to leave the memories where they are”.
Jean-Marie Bigard: “I remember almost all the gifts”
Asked about the good Christmas memories he had before the disappearance of his parents, it was on the verge of tears that the 70-year-old comedian declared: “Ah yes! Only good memories before the tragedies! At Christmas, it was done with dad, mom, grandfather, grandmother… And then I remember almost all the gifts. There was in particular a car, an ambulance, a fire engine whose headlights were on.”.
Upset, Jean-Marie Bigard added: “And the big game was to put under the tablecloth with the buffet and the things there to eat, to arrange well so that it goes all the way to the bottom so that it is as black as possible and set off our little cars which the headlights illuminated the underside of the table. That was wonderful.”. Asked what he had kept from his parents, he then replied:
“Love and love, only love”.
Jean-Marie Bigard: “I had Santa’s glass!”
Tuesday November 29, 2022, on the set of Touche pas à mon poste, on C8, the husband of Lola Marois had already spoken with emotion about his Christmas memories. At the age of seven, he began to wonder about the existence of Santa Claus. “I’m seven years old and Santa Claus is starting to smell a bit like shit to me. I’m starting to have some of the old doubts. On Christmas morning I go downstairs and say to my dad, ‘Are you sure Santa brought all this?'”he remembered.
So his father replied: “He arrived in the middle of the night, it was so cold, that Dad gave him a little glass of drop. You see, that was my glass and that was Santa’s”. Moved, Jean-Marie Bigard remembered:
“I spent all morning smelling glass. I had Santa’s glass! He drank from it you see! And so with this bullshit, I left for another year. Until I was 8 years old, I believed in it wholeheartedly. I won’t tell you the disappointment afterwards!”.
