With “Who knows something like that?” There are new guests at the start of every new episode. In today’s issue from December 19th, Maite Kelly and Thomas Neuwirth, also known as Conchita Wurst, are there to support Bernhard Hoëcker and Elton in their respective teams. Thomas Neuwirth: Becoming an ESC star with Conchita Wurst
Although Thomas Neuwirth completed training at the Graz Fashion School, he already retired in 2011 for the first time under his artist figure Conchita Wurst on. The name is made up of a friend’s first name and her own statement “sausage is where you come from and what you look like“. Neuwirth finally joined with the alter ego Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and also won the competition with the song “Rise like a Phoenix”.. The long hair and the accompanying beard caused a strong response from the audience.
Since 2019, Conchita Wurst’s appearance and image have changed. In addition to new pop-electro music, Neuwirth presents his visuals as Conchita Wurst male side in the foreground and therefore avoids wigs. With “Who knows something like that?” Thomas Neuwirth is in a team with Bernhard Hoëcker.
Maite Kelly: The successful pop singer of the Kelly family
As the second youngest child, Maite Kelly was part of the famous Kelly family. She was already quite young on the stage and was able to attend high school as one of the few children in the Kelly family due to the band’s success.
She started her solo career in 2009 with their album “The Unofficial Album”. By singing popular music, she set herself apart from her family musically. Due to her music success, she was often seen in TV productions. In 2011 she won the 4th season of “Let’s Dance” and she was part of the jury for the 18th season.
