December 19, 2024: Brigade Group has announced the launch of Brigade Citrine, a high-rise township, located in Budigere Cross, Whitefield, Bengaluru. This is positioned as a truly net-zero carbon, residential development. The project has an estimated GDV of about Rs 500 crore. The total size of the project site is around 4.3 acre and includes 420 units spread across 1,2,3 and 4 BHK homes.

To achieve Brigade Citrine’s net-zero carbon goal, the company has implemented the use of eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient designs, water conservation measures, and carbon offsetting initiatives. Among other benefits, the community will save around 8,900 tankers of water annually and use renewable energy for 100% of the common area lighting.

“Our commitment to net-zero for this project focuses on mitigating, reusing and offsetting to reduce the Brigade Citrine community’s environmental impact over the next 25 years. Innovative designs leads to operational carbon efficiency and embodied carbon reduction upto 40%. The project is in line with Brigade Group’s journey of achieving net zero emissions by 2045. From site selection to design and development and operations, we ensure our projects are aligned to our sustainability goals. Every new Brigade home is IGBC Certified and we have around 14.8 million square feet of green building certifications in various stages,” said Pavitra Shankar, managing director, Brigade Enterprises.

Brigade Citrine being a low-density development, residents can enjoy spacious and serene living with ample outdoor and indoor amenities.
