The match between Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, yesterday evening, Wednesday, witnessed the brilliance of Moroccan internationals Elias Bensghir and Achraf Hakimi, in a match that Paris Saint-Germain won by four goals to two, in the 16th round of the French League.
Hakimi succeeded in providing the pass for the lead goal for the French capital team in the 24th minute, scored by the promising Desiree Douy, before Bensaghir scored the equalizer for Monaco from the penalty spot in the 53rd minute.
The excitement of the match continued with a second goal for Monaco, thanks to Brielle Embolo in the 60th minute, before Saint-Germain rose up with three more goals, including two goals from Ousmane Dembélé (64th minute, 97th minute), and Gonzalo Ramos one (83rd minute).
Saint-Germain raised its score to 40 points, moving away from the lead from Monaco, whose score froze at 30 points, and is now in third place, trailing on goal difference from Marseille, which is in second place.
Bensaghir raised his tally of goals in the French League to five goals, while Hakimi was able to provide the same number of assists in 16 matches in “Ligue 1.”
