The Christmas spirit is more present than ever. A few days before the delivery of gifts under the tree and family meals, the last details are being finalized and preparations will begin in full swing. A period that Valérie Bonneton particularly appreciates, who once again plays alongside Bruno Salomone, Guillaume de Tonquédec and Isabelle Gélinas in a previously unpublished Don’t do this, don’t do that broadcast this Wednesday, December 18 on 2.

But this is not the only news from Valérie Bonneton at the moment. On November 27, the comedy Christmas balls, directed by Alexandra Leclère, was released in cinemas. The funny story of Nathalie and Antonin’s family, including Christmas Eve turns into a nightmare every year. And in terms of disaster, Valérie Bonneton knows something about it since she also experienced a rather unexpected Christmas Eve when everyone was gathered.

His son made all the guests leave with a big announcement

Invited a few days ago on the airwaves of Europe 1 at the microphone of the show Clappresented by Laurie Cholewa, Valérie Bonneton returned in a little more detail to this very pleasant party which she had nevertheless taken pleasure in preparing and which was completely upset by a big announcement from her son Joseph, victim of a serious illness at just 4 years old (born in 2001, the fruit of her love affair with François Cluzet with whom she also had a daughter, Marguerite, in 2006.)

During COVID, I worked a lot. And then I got the whole family together, I cooked, I love it. I had prepared a 3 meter long salmon that I had preserved myself, and then when everyone sat down at the table, my son came and said ‘I just took a test, I have COVID.‘” A revelation that ended the event: “Everyone left in fifteen minutes and that’s it.”

This memory did not, however, spoil the spirit of Valérie Bonneton’s Christmas celebration: “I like it, we say to ourselves ‘oh lala, we have to’, but ultimately, we have to meet again and I think it’s not bad. I like meeting people, cooking, I love it! I like this preparation. For the children, for the joy of seeing the little ones, it fills me with happiness.” This year, it is surely with her companion Edouard, her childhood sweetheart whom she recently presented on a red carpet, that her Christmas will be celebrated!
