Bellingham: The Pachuca match will be the turning point in Real Madrid’s season

Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham believes they can turn things around, despite the faltering start to the season so far.

Real Madrid is not among the direct qualifying positions for the round of 16 of the Champions League, in addition to not topping the Spanish League in any round so far.

Bellingham said in statements at a press conference before facing Pachuca in the Intercontinental Cup final: “We did not start the season well, and there were many matches in which we did not reach the required level.”

He added: “It required taking a step back in order to start. We are facing a very long season, and we have been exposed to many injuries, but we are convinced that it will be a good season, and we are able to turn things around and present football, starting with tomorrow’s match.”

He pointed out: “I am very happy to play this match. It is a title match, and this is what we are seeking to expand the trophy cabinet in the best club in the world. I hope I can win with Real Madrid.”

He continued: “The most important thing is that we all respect each other, and we can delegate responsibilities because we trust each other, without talking about who is the team leader.”

He concluded: “I love scoring goals and helping the team. Pressure at Real Madrid is always normal. Anyone who thinks that he will not face pressure in a club the size of Real Madrid is wrong. When things do not go well, we are exposed to pressure, and we have to accept it.”
