The last congress of the center was held in the Czechoslovak capital from November 8 to 11, between cultural discoveries of the city and time for professional exchanges.

In Prague, in November, it’s not hot, and wearing a hat when walking around town is not a problem! The “Luzien.nes” all had one identical, in the colors – black and (pompon) yellow – of their power station. Because Luz members flew to the capital of the Czech Republic from November 8 to 11 for their congress, a meeting which is held every two years. On the program on site: discovery of the historic city with a visit to the emblematic places, starting with the castle (one, if not the largest medieval castle in the world, it is said) or the famous Saint-Charles bridge, but also exotic activity like ice sculpture. The members of the center also enjoyed a night cruise on the Vlatva and a gala evening organized at the prestigious Zofin Palace… So much for the celebrations. On the professional side, we will first remember the highlight – and the funny one! – which saw Charlie Winner intervene; the comedian delivered his offbeat point of view on the optical market. Representatives of the main glass suppliers in the sector also made the trip to have a privileged discussion with the delegates.
