Yesterday evening, the African Golden Ball ceremony took place in Morocco. Announced as a possible winner of the trophy, Achraf Hakimi, the right side of PSG, was beaten by Ademola Lookman.
Achraf Hakimi is certainly the best player in the PSG this season. The right-back performs every time he is on the pitch, whether with the captain's club or the Moroccan selection, of which he is captain. Author of a good season during the 2023-2024 financial year, he started with very high standards for this 2024-2025 season. Performances which did not go unnoticed since he was named among the five finalists for the African Golden Ball 2024.

Last night, the right side of PSG was present at the ceremony which was held at Morocco. Announced as one of the favorites for this distinction, Achraf Hakimi unfortunately did not win. It is

Victor Osimhen. Besides number 2 of
PSG and the attacker Borussia Dortmund, Lookman was in competition with Ronwen Williams (goalkeeper,
South Africa/Mamelodi Sundowns), Simon
Adingra (attacker, Côte d’Ivoire/Brighton & Hove
Albion) to raise this prestigious award.
Achraf Hakimi is obviously part of the eleven of the year revealed during this ceremony.
