Sixteen years in prison for Azim Epsirkhanov, the killer's friend
The highest sentence was requested against this 23-year-old Russian of Chechen origin. Friend of the killer, Abdoullakh Anzorov (whom he met in a gym), he was fully aware of his jihadist beliefs and provided “the material conditions” necessary for his enterprise of destruction (in particular the purchase of weapons) . Tried for complicity in a terrorist assassination in the company of Naïm Boudaoud, the prosecution nevertheless preferred to seek the charge of “terrorist criminal association”.

Fourteen years for Naïm Boudaoud, the other friend
Prosecuted for the same reasons, Naïm Boudaoud, 22, saw the attorney general be more lenient with him in her indictment. She requested a sentence of fourteen years in prison, accompanied, like Azim Epsirkhanov, by a two-thirds security period. Likewise, his complicity in terrorist assassination was reclassified as a charge of “terrorist criminal association”.
Twelve years for preacher Abdelhakim Sefrioui
He denied any responsibility until the end. But Islamist preacher Abdelhakim Sefrioui could spend twelve years behind bars, if the verdict was identical to the requisition of the attorney general (who also requested a two-thirds security period).

He had gone to the college with Brahim Chnina, the father of the schoolgirl who was behind the lie about the teacher's course.
Ten years for the schoolgirl's father, Brahim Chnina
He could spend ten years in prison. The prosecution requested ten years of criminal imprisonment (with the same security period as the others) against Brahim Chnina. He is the father of Zohra, a young schoolgirl who allegedly lied about the course taught by Samuel Paty, a lie which led to the video by Abdelhakim Sefrioui (in which the patriarch appears) and therefore, potentially, to the act. of the assassin.
The schoolgirl's father assures that he “never meant any harm”. The magistrates also requested an additional sentence of exclusion from French territory (ITF) against Brahim Chnina, of Moroccan origin.
From one to five years for members of the “jihadosphere”
Sentences ranging from one year to five years, including 18 months suspended, were requested against the four other defendants: Yusuf Cinar, Ismaël Gamaev, Louqmane Ingar (all aged 22) and the only woman involved in the case, Priscilla Mangel (36 years old). They were presented by the prosecution as members of the “jihadosphere” gravitating around Abdoullakh Anzorov on social networks.

Answer
Ismaïl Gamaev would, according to the prosecution, have supported Anzorov in his attack plan and participated in the exchange of jihadist content on Snapchat. After the publication on a group called “Medical Students” showing the beheading of Samuel Paty, the latter reacted in particular with smiling smileys. Group in which Louqmane Ingar is accused of having actively participated.
Yusuf Cinar is accused of having shared photos of the remains of Samuel Paty and tributes to the attacker on a group dedicated to jihadist propaganda called “Zbrr”. Priscilla Mangel, finally, is also accused of having supported Abdoullak Anzorov in his attack plan.
