In the case of the unitary schools of Las Manchas (ten students) and Jedey (twelve), in La Palma, where the wind has removed the ashes of the nearby Tajogaite volcano and caused some damage, the repair of which is being carried out, as reported the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands.

In addition, the responsible area has established that, due to the state of the sea in the area, classes will be taught this Tuesday in a non-face-to-face mode at the Ignacio Aldecoa Compulsory Education Center (CEO), in La Graciosa, where middle school students study. hundred students.

However, the department headed by Poli Suárez continues to monitor the situation in case, over the next few hours, it has to adopt any measures regarding specific areas or centers.

Despite the strong gusts of wind recorded in recent hours, minor incidents have only been reported in seven centres: four in Tenerife, one in El Hierro and the two mentioned in La Palma.
