The suspense is at its peak, as the next Miss France should be crowned this Saturday, December 14. And while the bets are on, comedian Baptiste Lecaplain is preoccupied with a completely different question.
We don't know if Kev Adams appreciated the dig thrown at him by one of his fellow comedians this afternoon on RTL. On the air of Nathalie Renoux's newspaper, Baptiste Lecaplain did not seem particularly impatient to know the name of the future Miss France 2025. On the other hand, he did not hesitate to formulate the question that burned his lips, after having been a little shaken by Arnaud Tsamère: “Who will be Kev Adams' new partner?“
If the question seems incongruous, Kev Adams could well be Miss France's favorite comedian. Indeed, he had a one-year relationship with Iris Mittenaere, who won Miss France and Miss Universe in 2016. Very discreet in the media, he had mentioned this romance in his show “Be 10 years”. And if Miss France no longer has the obligation to be single, this relationship seems to have inspired several rumors. For example, in 2022, we lent him a story with Diane Leyre, Miss France who had just been crowned. Rebelote the following year, where some imagined a flirtation between the comedian and Miss Indira Ampiot. In both cases, Kev Adams denied. The two young women therefore probably did not have the honor of meeting Claudine, his grandmother to whom he is very close. Whatever happens, with or without Miss on his arm, the Parisian is always well accompanied.

Miss France, a competition that has been modernized
But what does the Miss France competition represent? While beauty pageants are subject to a certain amount of criticism, many are seeking to modernize. In the Netherlands, for example, we now prioritize inspiration over physicality. No more dresses and crowns, make way for “stories that inspire“and to”dreams that come to life“, declared the organizers of Miss Netherlands in a press release, Thursday December 12. In France, the change is less radical, but remains notable: the age limit has been lifted and applications from transgender women are now authorized, as during the Miss Paris election in 2022. At the RTL microphone, Mélissa Atta Bessiom, Miss Pays de la Loire, was delighted to be able to “embody the modern woman of 2025.” The beauty queen is categorical: Miss France is a definitely modern competition.
