Arsenal dropped more points in the Premier League title race last weekend but should return to winning ways today when they host struggling Everton.
Mikel Arteta’s side can’t afford many more slips if they’re to reel in leaders Liverpool and will be confident of seeing off Sean Dyche’s side at the Emirates.
The Gunners are unbeaten at home this term, winning three in a row, so it’ s hard to see the Toffees causing them too many problems.
Everton’s only away win all season came against minnows Ipswich and they were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester United on their last road trip.
Arsenal vs Everton top betting tips
Arsenal have won to nil in their last three at home so that bet should come up today, although the odds aren’t great at just 3/4 with BoyleSports. There’s more value in backing the Gunners to win both halves as that pays 13/8.
Kai Havertz was rested in midweek for the Champions League win over Monaco but the German should return to the starting line up here. He’s 7/5 for anytime scorer at BoyleSports and that looks decent value.
Everton could stick the boot in as they try to put Arsenal off their game. Veteran Ashley Young has four yellows and a red to his name this term and is 5/2 to pick up another card.
Liverpool vs Fulham top betting tips
The Liverpool bandwagon just keeps on rolling, although the Reds weren’t at their best in midweek as they had to grind out a 1-0 win at Girona in the Champions League.
It’s back to domestic duty today and they will need to be wary of a Fulham side who held Arsenal to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage last weekend.
These sides met four times last term in league and cup and BTTS landed each time. Backing both teams to score here pays just 3/4 with BoyleSports but if you combine that with a Liverpool win it boosts the odds to 15/8.
Virgil van Dijk is always a threat from set-pieces so I like the 8/5 on offer for the Dutchman to have a header on target.
Newcastle United v Leicester City top betting tips
Ruud van Nistelrooy has got off to a flying start at Leicester City but faces his toughest test yet today with a trip to St James’ Park.
Newcastle’s form has been a bit flaky but this is still one of the toughest venues to visit in the Premier League.
Alexander Isak is flying again for Eddie Howe’s side and BoyleSports price him at just 4/5 for anytime scorer. That’s poor value but backing the Swede to score first boosts the odds to 3/1 while Bet365 price him at 4/1 for an assist.
Newcastle should have too much class for the Foxes and backing them to be winning at half-time and full-time pays 20/23.
Saturday’s Super Singles
- Kai Havertz anytime scorer 7/5 BoyleSports
- Virgil van Dijk header on target 8/5 BoyleSports
- Alexander Isak assist 4/1 Bet365.
