After a period of gray and gloomy weather, the weather will gradually change in the coming days. The sun breaks through again, but at the same time the chances of precipitation also increase. It freezes slightly at night, during the day it gradually becomes milder. Especially after the weekend it is mild with temperatures around 10 degrees.

The weather picture on this Thursday looks about the same as previous days. It is gray and cloudy and there is some light rain or drizzle here and there. In the southeast of the country the sun may break through during the day, but in Flanders it remains gray and cloudy. With little wind it is 4 or 5 degrees. Tomorrow the day will start with morning gray, but afterwards the sun will break through in many places. It is 3 to 5 degrees.

On the first day of the weekend it will be cloudy and occasionally rain and drizzle will follow from the northwest. The first precipitation in Upper Belgium may be wintery with (melting) snow, but a significant snow layer is not expected. There the temperature is just above zero, in Flemish Brabant and Flanders it is 4 to 7 degrees with the highest values ​​in the west. The wind blows from the southwest and is most moderate in force.

Mostly dry
The sun will occasionally break through on Sunday, but there will also be cloud fields and showers are possible across the country. Yet it remains dry in the vast majority of places. This makes it perfect weather for a walk or bike ride, but also to visit a Christmas market. The temperature rises in Flanders to 5 to 8 degrees, with the highest values ​​in the Westhoek. In the higher parts of the country it is a few degrees above zero and it is often gray and cloudy.

Calm and mild December weather
After the weekend the wind will blow from the west and bring soft air. Temperatures are rising considerably and in Flanders the maximum temperatures are again in the double figures. It will be around 10 degrees well into next week. The weather shows a mix of sun and clouds and it is often dry. Rain chances increase later in the week.
